Why not a Dublin09 blog?

While away in Peru we kept a blog going so people would know about what we were doing so they could pray for us and be encouraged by how God was using us there. We have returned home, but we have not stopped serving Christ, he is still using us to grow his world wide Kingdom. So why don't we blog about it? The locations might not be as exotic , the culture not so foreign but the work God is doing in Dublin, Greystones or Ovoca is just as important. Stories still need to shared.

The Apostle Peter says that we are "temporary residents and foreigners", life is a mission trip, the places and the people change but the purpose never does.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Mt.28:18-20

So this is my new blog about my life as a missionary called to my own city and people.
